Ubuntu Best CHM Viewer

June 4, 2008 |

There are many ebooks are in CHM format, many people use the default gnochm as the viewer to read these ebooks on Ubuntu. gnochm has many problems rendering CHM files, especially newer version of CHM files. so instead of using gnochm, I use xCHM instead.

To install xCHM, all you need to do is to open up a terminal window and type in the command:

sudo apt-get install xCHM

Once it’s installed, you can right click the chm file and choose to open it with xCHM. Hope it helps!
