Ubuntu DVD Region Reassignment
April 14, 2008 |
If you have a DVD (for instance, NTSC Region1) and you would like to burn it onto a new DVD+R so you can watch it on an device like DVD player with different regional code (for instance, PAL Region2) .There are programmes that can easily do this for you.
Use DeVeDe and k3b, you can rip it into your hard disk to mpeg4 avi format and then burn the avi video back to DVD as region free. this might suffer quality loss due to double conversion. If your dvd player supports divx format, you could just burn the avi file directly into a data dvd, this avoids one of the conversion.
Hope this tip helps!
The actual exam of VCP-310 as well as 350-001 is much different than that of 640-802 and hence whether you have done 70-290 or not, does not make a lot of difference.
