Ubuntu Nvidia Refresh Rate Problem
April 14, 2008 |
If you have installed the Nvidia restricted drivers and everything is working fine apart from the refresh rate, before you installed the drivers you could easily manage 1024×768 with 60hz refresh rate, now if you try to go to 1024×768 the maximum it offers is 55hz.
All you need to do to fix the problem is to change the default monitor setting OS had automatically picked and played around until you got the perfect picture on 1024×768 resolution.
