Create Read View Edit Word Document on Ubuntu

This article teaches you how to create, read, view, edit, write MS Word Document .doc on Ubuntu. For those who are wondering if they need to spend money to purchase a copy of MS Office Ubuntu equivalent, the answer is NO. It’s free and it’s a build-in application called - OpenOffice Word Processor.
To launch the application, from the top of your desktop menu bar, go to Applications->Office->OpenOffice.org Word Processor
You should be able to see something like the following screen shot once you launch the application.
